Earlier this week, Lanta Paddlesports had our first fully booked island adventure tour group of the season.  It was a huge success and the big smiles and happy shouts from all of the participants reflected what a great time everyone had.  We cruised along the sheer limestone cliffs and amazingly still waters of our secret island.  Thai eagles soared overhead, flying fish skipped along the water in front of us, and we even spotted a 6 foot long monitor lizard on the shore.  It is impossible to describe the serenity and beauty of the island but we have some photos for you to look at to give you an idea of the visual splendor of the island. The high season on Koh Lanta is fast approaching and we are seeing the first few visitors start to arrive.  We just did our first paddleboard island adventure and took some photos and video to show everyone how incredibly beautiful this part of Thailand really is.  Enjoy the youtube video attached and let us know what you think.  Next post will have images of the surf going on right now.  Come down for a visit as the surf is good, the weather great, and low prices, not too many people in the water.  Prime conditions.

The SUP surf season in Thailand is definitely here, especially on Koh Lanta.  We have had some great SUP surfing conditions here on Koh Lanta this past month.  Some days have brought rain and wind, but once it clears out, there are usually a few days of really fun surf.  It may be quite a surprise to most of you to hear of good surf in Thailand, but it is here and uncrowded.  The great thing about SUP in Koh lanta is that therte are many smaller islands surrounding the island of Koh Lanta which are easily reached by paddleboard.  Great day trips are available to these cool islands to explore the caves and lagoons hidden on their coastline.  Come join the fun and adventure of SUP in Koh Lanta Thailand.
