Paddleboard Fitness Classes
Lanta Paddlesports also offers the first ever paddleboard fitness class offered on Koh Lanta. The class is similar to a cross training class in a gym but it is done on the water. It involves sequences of paddling from different positions on the board mixed with various strength and balance exercises. It is the most complete overall body workout you can achieve in one hour and has had excellent reviews from all participants. It is recommended to first rent a paddleboard for at least one hour practice before attempting the fitness class
Island Adventure Tour
(Currently not available)
The island adventure is a full day tour that takes you to one of the most beautiful local islands near to Koh Lanta. We take a longtail boat to the island and paddle around the sheer limestone cliffs rising straight out of the ocean and into hidden caves to explore. It is an amazing trip and will be one of the highlights of your visit to Thailand. Check out the Youtube video clip on this page.
Long Distance Paddle Adventures
(Currently not available)
We have two long distance options for those who want to push themselves to their physical limit. The shorter course is a paddle from Lanta Old Town on the eastern side of the island to Bu Bu island and then back to Lanta. It typically takes 1.5 hours to paddle from Lanta to Bu Bu if you paddle at a easy pace. Once you reach BuBu, you can relax on the beach and have something to eat at the restaurant there.
The longer course is for those craving a true endurance event. It is a channel crossing from Koh Lanta to Koh Phi Phi which is 32 kilometers in total distance. This option requires a longtail boat as support and takes between 4.5 and 6 hours depending on your paddling pace and physical stamina.
